Bushnell describes Folio 16, *Morphology of the Earth in the Antarctic and Subantarctic*, as the work of Bruce C. Heezen, Marie Tharp, and Charles R. Bentley. According to her account, Heezen and Tharp compiled its seafloor maps, while Bentley supplied the subglacial topography of Antarctica. Its plates include a 1:15,000,000 bathymetric map, maps of the soundings and physiographic and tectonic provinces, a larger-scale bathymetric map of the Scotia Sea, bottom profiles, and paired plates showing Antarctic subglacial topography and the traverse and flight lines used to obtain soundings.
