Bushnell reports that Folio 12, Geologic Maps of Antarctica, was published in August after being prepared since 1965 with contributions from 25 geologists in eight countries. Its plates comprise 17 regional maps, mostly at 1:1,000,000 scale, five maps of the entire continent, and a final reconstruction of Gondwanaland; she argues that geological similarities between Antarctica and other southern landmasses support the Gondwanaland hypothesis.
