The Times Atlas of the World: Comprehensive Edition

G. M. Lewis reviews the 1968 Times Atlas of the World: Comprehensive Edition, a single-volume successor to the five-volume Mid-century Edition. Revised maps incorporate geographical changes and recent survey and satellite information; new sections cover world resources and astronomical and Earth-related subjects. Lewis praises clearer mapping and the lower price, but criticizes the omission of drafting dates and reduced paper and binding quality. He considers it almost certainly the best English-language single-volume world atlas.
