Atlas över Sverige

The 'Atlas of Sweden', published by the Swedish Society for Anthropology and Geography after 25 years of work involving around a hundred scholars, covers 11 main themes from geology to politics in 75 parts with 520 maps. It aims to provide a comprehensive overview of Sweden's natural and cultural geography, uniquely featuring explanatory texts in both Swedish and English. The atlas details topography, climate, hydrology, agriculture, forestry, population, and cultural aspects, with notable precision in population statistics and agricultural mapping. Serving both professionals and the public, it enhances understanding of Sweden's conditions and is funded by state grants and private foundations, representing a significant national achievement.
