Christian Wichmann Matthiessen's brief review notices volume 10 of the Atlas zur Raumentwicklung, issued by the Bundesforschungsanstalt für Landeskunde und Raumordnung (Bonn 1982), a 60 cm map volume on land use and physical planning. The reviewer holds that its overview maps permit introductory study of the subject and will be useful to those planning excursions.
