Summary

This review discusses the third edition of the Atlas of Finland (1925–1929), prepared by the Finnish Geographical Society. Compared with earlier editions, it updates geographic data, omits historical maps, condenses the text, and improves the layout of urban maps. The atlas covers physical geography, population, climate, hydrography, flora and fauna, as well as economic and cultural life, with particularly notable maps led by Professor Granö. Its comprehensive content and clear organization earned wide acclaim from both the public and geographers.
