Summary

The National Geographic and Cadastral Institute of Spain is preparing a national atlas, aiming to compile diverse essential geographic data that have been difficult to access. The atlas will include geographic maps of the Iberian Peninsula at a scale of 1:500,000, with hypsometric tints and contour lines at 200-meter intervals. Additionally, it will contain about 100 maps at larger scales (ranging from 1:200,000 to 1:25,000) covering areas of special interest. The volume will conclude with a geographic summary and a toponymic index.
