IGU/ICA Joint Working Group on Environmental Atlases

Summary

The IGU/ICA Joint Working Group’s terms of reference proposed documenting environmental atlases and related maps in national, regional and urban atlases, comparing their subjects and methods, recommending production guidelines, and publishing the results. Its proposed initial tasks were to gather information on relevant atlases and maps and survey the precise meaning of “Environmental Map.” The document records planned work, with no completed results reported.
