Commissions‘ Reports: National and Regional Atlases

Summary

At the ICA General Assembly in Moscow on 9 August 2007, Peter Jordan succeeded Timothy Trainor as commission chair. The commission decided to devote the next four years to preparing a methodological “cookbook” for editors of national, regional, city, and thematic atlases. An editorial board was formed to plan contents and recruit authors by January 2008, while a new website, including links to web atlases, remained under development.
