Commission on National and Regional Atlases: Terms of reference proposed for the period 1991-1995

Summary

For 1991–1995, the Commission proposed international collaborative study and reporting on thematic atlas cartography, editorial work, administration and financing, traditional and emerging production techniques, atlases as geographic information systems, national atlas databases, and PC atlases. B. Rystedt of Sweden was named chair, with Arpad Papp-Vary as executive supervisor.
