Commission on National and Regional Atlases

Summary

The Commission reported that proceedings of its Madrid seminar were published in June 1993 and that it had produced “Technical and Organisational Approaches to National and Regional Atlas Production.” It also participated in the Visegrad seminar. Bengt Rystedt prepared “National and Regional Atlases: the Electronic Era” for the 5th UN Regional Cartographic Conference for the Americas in January 1993, while a South American seminar was planned for August 1994.
