Summary

Brief descriptions are provided for 157 of the many regional and thematic atlases that have been published on the Eastern Hemisphere since 1962, when Ena L. Yonge's last summary survey of regional atlases appeared in the Geographical Review. A companion survey, written by Richard W. Stephenson, of atlases published since 1961 in the Western Hemisphere appeared in the January, 1972, issue.
