Henning Morch reviews installments 8 (1985) and 9 (1988) of Atlas der Donauländer, edited by Josef Breu, covering soils, agricultural productivity, population density, transport, and trade. He considers parts of the area covered unfamiliar even to many geographers and judges that the atlas will be an excellent source of information upon completion, expected with the tenth installment.
