The national atlas tradition in Kuwait is a relatively recent and focused endeavor, emerging in the early 21st century as part of the state’s efforts to document its geographical identity. The sole atlas in this collection, published in 2001, represents a singular moment of cartographic consolidation. Written in Arabic, this work serves as a comprehensive reference, integrating physical geography, administrative boundaries, and socio-economic data within a single volume.
