Summary

This article reviews the Atlas of the Czechoslovak Republic, published by the Czech Academy of Sciences in 1935. The atlas contains 55 map sheets with accompanying texts in Czech, French, German, or English. It covers physical geography, population, agriculture, mining, industry, transport, trade, education, and other topics, aiming to show interrelations between geographic and economic phenomena. Compiled over fifteen years using statistical-geographical methods, it relies on the latest data available down to the smallest administrative units. Although some data are not fully contemporary, the atlas provides an authoritative overview of the country and serves as an important document for international representation.
