Summary

This review examines the first National Atlas of Cuba, published in 1970 by the Cuban Academy of Sciences in collaboration with Soviet institutions, in both Spanish and Russian editions. The atlas comprises 102 map pages and 29 text pages, covering physical geography, economy, population, culture, and history, with data mostly from the 1960s. It prominently highlights revolutionary achievements, including new industrial installations and social improvements.
