This article reviews The Atlas of Canada, published in 1958. Initiated by the Canadian government in 1948, the atlas involved 150 geographers and 25 cartographers and comprises 450 maps, mostly in Lambert conformal conic projection at various scales. Its thematic sections cover physical geography, population, economy, transportation, and socio-cultural institutions, along with historical expedition routes and early maps. As a comprehensive cartographic reference to the country's territory and resources, it serves as an important source for regional studies.
