Summary

The ICA Commission on Atlases announced a workshop for 12–13 December 2019 at the Technical University of Munich to discuss a proposed UN Sustainability Atlas, atlas-definition criteria, an “Atlas Cookbook,” and a planned 2020 Madrid meeting. A separate report records that the Commission on Cartography and Children co-organized a specialist workshop and three technical sessions at ICC 2019 in Tokyo, and coordinated the Barbara Petchenik Children’s World Map Awards exhibition and judging.
