Summary

Improved accessibility helps to explain the spatial behaviour of Man as well as to understand spatial organisation and the chosen location of the various economic activities. The results of the present study demonstrate that the link established among population settlements and transport infrastructure is considered as accessible whenever it can be directly used by the population and when it is susceptible of generating flows.
