Introduction to the Foreign Atlas: "Atlas of Poland"

Summary

This notice introduces Atlas Polski as a loose-leaf national atlas. Its first four fascicles, published in 1953–1956, constitute the first part and describe Poland’s natural conditions, including geology, at a principal map scale of 1:2,000,000. The notice also identifies population, culture and economic topics in the second part and presents the atlas as a reference for Poland’s natural and socioeconomic conditions.
