This section of Iran’s 2007–2011 national report describes the National Atlas Project assigned to the National Cartographic Center in 1992. It outlines an initial general atlas and a second phase of 19 subject atlases, completed in 2002, with selected volumes subsequently updated and digital versions prepared.
